We checked out of our space-age accommodation and made our way to the Guggenheim museum. The building itself was beautiful and the massive flower puppy captured Katrine’s heart. Inside we meandered through halls of Japanese weirdness and all manner of abstract art and eclectic installations. Funky and cool.

We made our way to the Feve train for our first journey through the countryside of northern Spain. Very cool flippable seats and great views, trundling along at a meandering pace.
In Santander we checked into our funky hostel and tracked down some amazing seafood and beer and were entertained by a street party and band, celebrating the running of the bulls. It was a good night.
