I picked up my phone during the night and it told me it can’t charge because of overheating. No wonder I felt the same way, trying to sleep in a top bunk with no air condition. After a few fitful hours of sleep we took the Feve train to Ribadesella. A beautiful little seaside town with no crowds and little to no tourists. Unpretentious cafes, and in this tiny town of 6000 inhabitants, not just one, but two Michelin star restaurants! We skipped them this time since we thought we owed them the courtesy of at least showering. In the evening, the train took us to Oviedo where we found ourselves an air-conditioned hotel. Even if our eyes were sore, and our skin a little pink from a lie on the beach, we snuggled up in bed to watch From and eat McDonalds (because it was the only place open, and they served beer, plus threw in a beach towel for €1)
