We had a chilled day wandering the beautiful streets of Cascais and managed to track down an ice cream parlour that sold (delicious) mint ice cream.
The rest of the day was spent chilling at the pool before saying a fond farewell to the Sivertsen clan and co. and hightailing it to the airport.
We settled into the lounge, sipping on cocktails for not long enough… I was gutted when we had to leave… and somewhat concerned when I saw the passport queue and our flight boarding… However we made it (Katrine tells me) comfortably… I’m still not used to her seat of the pants timekeeping when it comes to airports…

The highlight of the day was our pod ride to our hotel, because I’m a child. Luckily Katrine shared in my excitement and our futuristic trip felt like a scene from Logan’s Run.
