Wine sampling and cat hunting

Going on a wine tour the last day turned out to be a bad idea. We only regretted that we hadn’t gone earlier so we could have spent the rest of the week drinking bottles we had purchased. Today, we sampled wine but didn’t buy much. At the third winery we also ran into a small cat collective of three cats and three kittens. I was in heaven. Terry too. Not because of the cats, but because they let him try a vintage Commanderia wine. A wine native to Cyprus and supposedly the oldest wine in the world, being produced for more than 5000 years. After the three wineries the non-drivers had had enough and needed a dip in the pool at home. Ann-Sofie had been up early to prepare moussaka in the morning and we heated it up for another fabulous dinner at the house. Nuisance, the neighborhood cat, who knows how to live up to her name, sat next to us meowing and trying to get up onto the table. I guess she didn’t know it was vegetarian. Besides, she’s already had one too many treats in her lifetime.
