We arrived in L.A. and bussed out to Union Station to collect our hire car. We had time to burn so decided to make for Hollywood Boulevard, exploring the walk of fame, Chineses theatre and the weird and wonderful characters walking the streets, of which there were many.

After we had our fill of sidewalk star gazing we headed to the Griffith Observatory and a view of the Hollywood sign, sadly we couldn’t hang around because we had a date with a big mouse. Disneyland beckoned so we hot tailed it to Anaheim and checked into our pleasant hotel just a (very energetic) arms throw from the park(s) and hit the sack to muster strength for the fun ahead.
