We started the day chillin by the pool and soaking up the atmosphere of the hotel before getting dressed up and heading out for an early dinner.

We dined at Koi, a wonderful sushi joint with excellent food and surroundings, great service (with the notable exception of the ‘blonde’ on the front desk) and awesome Japanese IPA.
Fed and watered we headed to the fabulous Cabinet of Curiosities a hidden speakeasy where we had to obtain a password for access via a vintage telephone. In the lobby we had to crack the code to allow us access to the inner sanctum, which with our combined mental prowess proved a simple task.

When inside we were greeted by a cozy speakeasy and delicious cocktails. One of which was tailored to our mood and personalities. Mines was absolutely fantastic.

We swayed onwards to the main event of the evening which was magic, quite literally, Penn and Teller didn’t dissappoint, making us laugh and scratch our heads in equal measure.

We ended the night high rolling in the Casino on the 50 cent armed bandits, experiencing the highs and lows of a high stakes gamblers lot.
What a day.
