We have three days in Santa Barbara lined up next. What a city. So much cozier and more pleasant than Los Angeles and very walkable. Our hotel let us borrow bikes for free to ride up and down the long sandy beaches here. All the stores and restaurants in the Funk Zone and on State street had us wandering for hours. Their Hispanic heritage means that there are tons of Mexican restaurants with delicious food. We had ceviche and guacamole and tacos for dinner, but this was something other than the Santa Maria from the Texmex aisle at Rema1000. Not to mention the mezcal margaritas. Got to keep an eye out for some mezcal to take back home.
