We ate a breakfast of champions (literally) at the diner across the road, where our very friendly waitress told us about her flash mob dance group who would be performing that night and we said we’d check them out. We decided that we would.

We explored Santa Barbara and did a tour of it’s absolutely fantastic courthouse. The murals, architecture and history were all incredible. 

I then got my hair cut while Katrine got her nails done. 

Since we’d pampered ourselves, we got dressed up and found ourselves at a fantastic street party. We listened to some fantastic live music as we ate a simple but tasty dinner and tried some local beers and wine. We also managed to check out our waitress and her dance buddies. We then joined in the fun proper, literally dancing in the street with the locals. What a great time, place and people. Eventually we had to make our way back to our hotel but not before popping by a late night shop to purchase a bath math mat… It’s a long story.
