Aloha Hawai’i!

Only a few hours after we laid our heads to rest we got back up again. We didn’t get to try the wine station dispenser at the hotel but it was very cool. (Add it to my wishlist). Bus service was not very reliable but we still made it in good time, which was a good thing since we had to queue in line for “international document control” to check our bags. The flight was quick. I nodded off before we even took off and woke up a couple hours before landing with just enough time to watch one of the free movies from Alaska airlines. We arrived at our hotel, the Aqua Palms Waikiki, after an hour on the bus (because we alternate between being cheap and splurging…), and we were far too early. A visit to the Red Lobster and a cafe and a stroll along Ala Moana and Waikiki beach took care of the five hour wait. We then went to Walmart. Not because it’s a Hawaii thing but because we have a little kitchenette and can stock up on food for the week. Plus, Walmart is more interesting than you think. 3 hours later we were back in our room and tired from the three hour time difference.
