Early, early, early.

Leaving paradise for L.A. seemed hard. Probably because it was. Not enough sleep and the earliest possible flight meant a long tiring day to burn before checking into our hotel… Sometimes saving a few bucks is a folly… Anyway,  we made the best of it, dumping our luggage (after a long bag drag across town and a red herring drop off location) and heading to a mall for some junk food to ease our pain.

Luckily the speakeasy hotel I found for our first night in L.A. was a solid win. What a fantastic place. Decorated as an old time 1930s speakeasy with decor and small touches that were fabulous, it went some way to lessening the days hardships. We rounded off the night with a drink at the bar and a much needed early night.
