The day has arrived! From the port of Civitavecchia we boarded the Celebrity Edge cruise ship for our 40 days and 40 nights adventure from Italy to Australia. We have a stateroom with an “infinite” veranda that extends from the rest of the room. The main dining restaurant is in fact 4 restaurants and you can choose freely between them or go to the buffet. And this time around we opted for the all-inclusive package with wifi, tips and beverages. My calculations say that we need to have 9 alcoholic drinks a day every day for it to be worth our money. Hmm… There are also fabulous shows every night and so many activities during the day that it’s almost hard to find the time to relax in fear of missing out. But don’t worry. We will manage just fine.

Oh, and at the train station we stumbled across Jordan and Jared, better know as JJ cruise. They are famous from YouTube where they post videos about cruising and I’d watched many before we set off. Unfortunately, it looks like they’re not on the same cruise as us, and we were all too rushed (and embarrassed) to say hi.
