My first time in India and we start with Mumbai! Summarized in one word: chaos. But so much fun. People everywhere. And all of them friendly. and half of them asking to take selfies with us. We felt like celebrities for a day. We visited the Gateway of India, a large arch symbolizing both the beginning and end of the British colonial period here. Then we stopped by the Taj Mahal palace, a high end hotel, not to be confused with the actual Taj Mahal. From there we wandered through a street market, down the marine drive, had some street food in a metro station (£1,5 for enough food for lunch and dinner), and ended with a top notch massage at an “expensive” spa that charged about 1/5 of the spa on the boat.

The picture is actually from back on the ship where they had brought on local artists to entertain the poor Canadians that India won’t issue visas for anymore because of political differences.
