The ship stayed overnight in Bali so we had one more day to explore. We stayed closer to the port in Nusa Dua where there are many luxurious hotels.

We went for our first dip in the ocean in a long time before walking through one of the hotels and, after some sweaty walking, ended up in a more local area at a large massage place called Zahra Spa. It was more expansive than expected with bridges and canopies and many rooms and decorations. The staff were so friendly and served us lemongrass tea even before we ordered any massage. Since Terry found the Ayurvedic massage in India too light, he went for the full on deep tissue and he was not disappointed. I believe I heard him squirm a few times during our 90 minute session. And all of it came out to around 600kr for both of us. It almost felt like we were cheating them, but they were in fact more expensive than some of the places in Ubud. We just had to get a picture under their “happy wife, happy life” decoration. How they missed the “e”, I’m not sure. The sign outside has the same saying with an “e”… can’t win ‘em all.
After our massage we strolled along the streets, met some locals, both human and animal, and tried some snacks, before getting a taxi back.
