The island of Odaiba was on our plan today. On our way there we stopped at Tsukiji fish market with lots of tiny shops and vendors selling fish, meat, tea, and more. (For those of you who watched “Jiro dreams of sushi”, the market was featured in it).

Next stop was Joypolis, an indoor amusement park fully equipped with a roller coaster and arcade games and attractions. On our way out we snapped a picture of the massive Unicorn Gundam robot statue.

Next up was Teamlab Planets, an innovative art space focused on light, water and flowers and the interaction of the audience with the art. You walk through water up to your knees in parts of the exhibit. The entire exhibit is done barefoot. Never done that before!

At last, we visited a conveyor belt sushi restaurant ordering in iPads and having our meals delivered straight to our seat by the belt.
