A small walk wouldn’t kill us, so we did the very manageable trail around the lake if Glencoe Lochan which featured both mountain, forest and lake. I made good friends with the local ducks who feasted on our leftover bread. The rest of the day was spent at the Kingshouse hotel as we lost ourselves in our phones and laptops. We’ve really been missing good, reliable cell connection in Scotland and we finally had some decent wifi. The glen may be breathtakingly beautiful but after a couple of days admiring it, we were ok with staring at our screens for the evening.

Totally forgot to mention that we did a tiny hike up behind the Clachaig Inn to where Hagrid’s hut was made and filmed in the Harry Potter movies. We recognized the enchanted forest where Hermione hid too.
