The West Highland Way – Day 3

Our trek along Loch Lomond to Drovers inn was beautiful and reasonably challenging. We saw many of the same faces and I enjoyed a lovely beer at the half way point which boosted moral nicely.

The remaining trek was just as lovely with the terrain undulating beneath us and the greenery and critters of the forest, hillside and lochside cheering us on.

Arriving at the Drovers Inn felt good. The building was beautiful on the outside and rather strange on the inside. Claymores and all manner of stuffed animals adorned every nook and cranny.

After saying hi to our neighbours we showered up and had a lovely pub dinner washed down with the usual selection of local beers.

Fed, watered and rested we (Katrine) got her fix of Judge Judy and we sailed off into the ether in anticipation of what should be an easy hike day tomorrow.
