We took advantage of the free bicycles thar were included with our hotel room and made for Santa Barbara Zoo. A pilgrimage for Katrine as she has fond memories from her childhood of feeding the goats.

We saw all manner of animals imprisoned for our finger pointing enjoyment and (hopefully) to aid in their preservation. Katrine was especially taken with the beavers.

After the Zoo we cycled to the Santa Barbara Pier and a fabulous seafood restaurant right at its end where we had the world’s best lobster roll and a cold beer. 

We freshened up then popped out for cocktails and some live music in the Funk Zone. Great stuff.
