And, so the fateful day had come where we were forced to say Aloha to the big island and Hawaii… but not before another morning of snorkelling and a canoe ride at our resort.

Next up was cocktails at the tiki bar, followed by a dip in the jacuzzi and another wee tipple, ticking off all the must do’s on our list before bering to the airport… an experience in itself… an open air gem of a place.

The Big Island of Hawaii had made quite the impression on us both and was a highlight of our trip so far. The Island was so diverse and rich in culture and landscape, with amazing people, culture and food. So long Hawaii and thanks for the memories.
