Right next to Bogstadveien in Oslo is a building with a door with a staircase leading down to the only Bikram studio in Oslo. You can recognize it by the distinct smell of wet dog as you enter, similar to many hot yoga studios around the world. If you can get past the smell, a rewarding and challenging 90 minutes awaits. My first time doing hot yoga was in Oslo when this studio only had room for four people 15+ years ago, and has stayed with me as my favorite physical activity ever since. So much so that I took hot yoga teacher training 6 years ago.
It’s been a while since I practiced now, and it was good to be back on the mat.
