Thorskog castle in Sweden was our destination for ‘ringing in the bells’, full credit to my better half for finding this place. What a gem. We had an incredible 3 days in a wonderful Swedish castle chugging champagne and trying not to bump into suits of armour.

While there we walked the loveły grounds, stopping to endulge in some natural spring water straight from the source, luckily I had some proper aqua vitae in the form of a hip flask of single malt to wash down the muddy water. Shortly after I found myself in possession of a shotgun shooting clay pigeons with deadly accuracy. Nae bother.
Besides decimating clay pigeons and bottles of champagne we enjoyed lavish dining, historic presentations and a lovely outdoor hot tub.

The big night was spent with new friends, drink and dance with a smattering of fireworks. It was all rather special, as was the beauty by my side.
