We left Bremen this morning and backtracked our way to Hamburg all the way to the airport. I was slightly nervous about my hand luggage being too big. So in an attempt to make it look smaller, I layered clothes from my luggage onto myself until I felt like a Russian doll with a dubious fashion sense. With hand luggage and us on board, just a tad bit sweaty, we waited for our delayed flight to take off. Luckily we were in no rush. After arrival in Bilbao, we went to a string quartet concert in an old historical building, and then had some “pintxos” (typical for Basque Country) and sangria and beer, and wandered around the old town. But our accommodation is the cool part. We’ll be sleeping like two peas in a pod hostel! How cool doesn’t that look?
